How to Request Prayer
Prayers for Pets 1.org
Uplifting Pets, Pet Parents, Fosters, and Shelters
Psalm 91:4 He will cover you with His Feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
Prov. 12:10a A righteous man cares for the needs of his animals.
There is just so much a person can do for our precious furbabies, but with God’s help we can and have moved mountains! We are unapologetically Christian, but to post requests you can believe whatever you want. We are about God’s power to love, encourage and heal the brokenhearted. You will find amazing stories of love and dedication here.

Frequently Asked Questions FAQs:
FAQ: “I posted a request, why did it not get posted with a prayer on the page?”
ANSWER: Message (pm) or email PrayersforPets1 [at] gmail [dot] com* the page if your request did not post. If the request is vague or there is no photo it may not get posted. Ex: “Pray for my friend Joe’s cat, he’s sick.” If the request is urgent and taken from another Facebook page you must MESSAGE or email* me (Caren) to have two way communication.
Tell us at Prayers for Pets:
- NAME and sex and age of pet.
- Include a photo
- Tell us why the pet needs prayer; and if it is a long standing concern or urgent.
- Watch for your request to post, if it does not, always message (pm) the page or email.
FAQ: Why did my pet’s request only post once?
ANSWER: You need to update the page on your pet’s condition. Either post a new request, message (pm) or email PrayersforPets1 [at] gmail [dot] com* the page with updates.
FAQ: Why was my comment/reply hidden?
ANSWER: If you use all CAPS in a comment or the same words repeatedly in many replies (“thank you”), Facebook automatically hides them. If you want your comment/reply to be seen, make sure to vary the words and type style.
I LOVE that you are passionate enough to use CAPS and polite enough to want to thank people who pray for you! I’d like for people to see what you say, it’s important to us all!
FAQ: Why did my request not post to Instagram?
ANSWER: Instagram requires new photos with each post, even for ongoing situations. If you want to have your requests posted on Instagram, please send a new pic with each update.
Prov. 12:10a A righteous man cares for the needs of his animals.

Facebook Group
The new group began during the summer of 2019. It is populated by some truly wonderfully kind and caring people. There are even some veterinary professionals who contribute their wisdom. It has become an oasis from the contentions of Facebook.
Once you join the private group you can:
- Post a pet with photos or videos for prayer
- Connect with other like-minded people
- Get advice based on other’s experience
- See all of PrayersforPets1 posts
- Talk about all things pet
The group is run by Christian principles found in the Bible. Because it is a private group the rules are pretty firm. The gospel is preached there on a daily basis, but people of all faiths are welcome to join. I hope to see you there <3 Caren
