Bailey seems depressed, uninterested in life, battling Valley Fever

PRAY FOR: Bailey 4 yo. Valley Fever (systemic fungal infection). Lord Jesus You know the battle that Bailey has been fighting to regain her body from the fungus. Please help dad Danny to take whatever steps necessary to bring her out of this condition. We ask that the medication would continue to work to be killing the fungus, and that Bailey’s body would join the fight against it. Please show dad Danny that she is improving day by day. In the Name of Adonai Rohi. God our Shepherd. Amen. <3 Caren
Danny McGrath 1-20-20: She always greets me when I come home from work she runs to the door. Today she stayed laying on the floor, my other dog Benny came and greeted me, not Bailey. And she normally has an insatiable appetite, and she doesn’t seem very interested

he leads me beside quiet waters,

How’s Bailey doing? ❤ Caren
Danny McGrath
Shes doing ok, still worried about her[]
Prayers for Pets
What does the vet say?
Danny McGrath
They say they are confident that the medicine they put her on will wipe it out, however the lab results put her at a 1.16 in her blood which means the fungus likely disseminated, so I’m hoping it didn’t spread into her brain and bones
Prayers for Pets
Do they say what the likelihood of that is?
Danny McGrath
The lab results say it is likely, but not a percentage
Prayers for Pets
What symptoms is she having? What do the Vets say she should be experiencing at this point?
Danny McGrath
She still has a slight cough, especially after she runs, so I try limiting that. They say it’s too early to tell if it is in her bones, so I need to bring her back in for x-rays around march. Good news is that the meds she is on are very strong and the lab says that they will penetrate into her bones and brain if there is fungus in there
Prayers for Pets
Ok, that’s good to know. Do they tell you that they expect her to be symptomatic for quite some time or do they think that the coughing is unusual? I’m glad to hear that she’s able to run that’s good news.
Prayers for Pets
Is she on Fluconazole?
Danny McGrath
Yes fluconazole
The coughing is usually and they have meds for her
Prayers for Pets
Do they say that her progress is moving in an acceptable, normal Direction?
Danny McGrath
Won’t know until March
Prayers for Pets
I would think that the fact that she’s running at all would be good news right? When I posted her a few days ago she looked pretty bleak.
Please send me a recent picture. I can repost her and ask people to continue to pray for her. I know this is a long slog but you’ll get through this. 💗🙏 Caren

Danny McGrath
I can tell she is still not right
Prayers for Pets
I hear you, it’s hard to see them struggling. She has been through a lot in her relatively young life. 😔🤗💗🙏 Caren
Danny McGrath
Yes, I’m so upset
Prayers for Pets
Such a sweet face…
Danny McGrath
She’s such a sweet dog
I love her a lot
Prayers for Pets
I’m so sorry. What about her demeanor is most concerning?
I’d appreciate a couple more shots to have several to choose from

I’ll do what I can, she hates staying still. Took me a while to get that one
Prayers for Pets
Ohhhh how sad… I can see why you are concerned, that is not a good sign. Has she not greeted you since the Valley Fever?
Danny McGrath
Off and on
Prayers for Pets
She appears to be a good weight, but I know what you are saying about disinterest. It could be the die-off process. I’m at an appointment right now. I should have some time later today or tomorrow. I can send you some information about die-off reactions. Have you got her on any detox protocol?
Prayers for Pets
DETOX
https://healthypets.mercola.com/sites/healthypets/archive/2013/06/17/detoxification.aspx read this, and I’ll explain how this relates to her condition. If your Vet did not explain this to you, I will later. Hang in there, try not to get overwhelmed. Help is on the way! 💗🙏 Caren
How Often Should You Detoxify Your Pet?
Pets are equipped with innate detoxification mechanisms, but these systems can become stressed depending on some factors.
Danny McGrath
Yes, I have her on Yucca and another detox, have had a consult with a holistic doctor as well
Prayers for Pets
Oh, that’s excellent! It sounds like you need to step it up. Is she on Denamarin? It’s milk thistle or Silymarin.
Danny McGrath
She is not
Prayers for Pets
You can ask your vet for it or get it otc as a human supplement. Gtg, more later
Danny McGrath
Thank you

This is a 2nd Dr Becker video I recommend – it should actually be the 1st one you see if you haven’t already seen the other one. Try not to get overwhelmed by the recommendations. Do things as you are able, one at a time. Keep what seems effective, discard what doesn’t. DETOX 2 food and water https://youtu.be/8040s1iAYEQ

Danny McGrath
She does seem to be getting a little better, and I apologize I’ve been busy work
Prayers for Pets
I understand, I’ve been away from screens too. I’m glad you’re seeing a little progress. Send me a few photos when you get a chance. I hope to post her tomorrow morning. 💗🙏 Caren

Thank you. Will do

Things that can help with die-off of the fungus to help the body clear itself of toxins: plenty of filtered water, detox herbs, clean diet, anti-inflammatory foods, brush and bathe him regularly, wash his feet at least once a week to remove toxins easily picked up from walking outside. Use only non-toxic cleaning products like white vinegar, hydrogen peroxide. A few drops of a grease fighting dish soap in a water spray bottle can take the place of all-purpose cleaners. Open windows and doors once a day to allow fresh air to permeate the house, or consider an air purifier or heavy duty allergen furnace filter.
