PRAY FOR: Cinnamon Sugar, 8 yo. Hip Replacement 3-17-20, Broken Femur. Lord Jesus You know all of the suffering Cinnamon has endured in her life. We ask that You would keep her comfortable as she awaits surgery. We ask that Your will would be done in her life. Help mom Tamara to make the best possible decisions she can for her girl. Thank You that through Your death on the cross, You have taken upon Your body mom Tamara’s distress. We ask that You would give her a clear vision of her present and future through Your very own Words to us: the Bible. Thank You that You hold us in Your heart. In the Name of Immanuel, God is with us. Amen. <3 Caren

Tamara Morris 11-3-20: Cinnamon has a badly fractured femur and will need surgery to repair it. It is the same femur into which the hip replacement was inserted. The fracture is lengthwise and it APPEARS at this time that the hip replacement can be salvaged. The local surgeon believes he can do the surgery and we won’t have to drive 4 hours to the university vet hospital. (Thank Gd!) Surgery is tentatively set for Tuesday a.m. She will be at the vet hospital until then.

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.

Exodus 23:24 Do not bow down before their gods or worship them or follow their practices. You must demolish them and break their sacred stones to pieces. 25 Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you, 26 and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span.

Isaiah 30:26: The moon will shine like the sun, and the sunlight will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven full days, when the LORD binds up the bruises of his people and heals the wounds he inflicted.

Tamara Morris UPDATE 11/3:
I forgot to update yesterday. Cinnamon will now be having surgery TOMORROW morning, Wednesday 11/4, done by a hip specialist who is familiar with the replacement originally placed. By all accounts he is THE surgeon to go to in this area and she will be in very good hands. I just got a report from the overnight doctor at the hospital where she is staying. She is doing really well and is comfortable. I will be seeing her this afternoon for a quick visit with her homemade ice cream treat.

Tamara Morris Nov. 1, 8:08 AM: Cinnamon’s hip replacement has failed and she has a badly broken femur. We are talking to multiple surgical specialists and working on a treatment plan.
From Mommy: we are waiting at the local vet emergency clinic to be seen. Cinnamon had another severe episode last night, losing bladder control and unable to put any weight on her right rear paw.
Once I got her calmed down and cleaned up, I helped her get comfortable. It took 30 minutes for her to allow me to give her medicine to help her feel better. Neither a cookie nor ice cream were any help. Eventually after about 30 minutes she ate a cookie. She was able to go to sleep but was up several times in the night in obvious pain. I gave her a sedative early this morning so she could rest.
At 10 am she still could not stand up. She has let me explore the area a little but is very sensitive and won’t let me apply any pressure to massage it. I had to carry her off the bed and help her walk with a sling to get to the car. Getting in was tough and I’m waiting for the vet tech to come out to help her out of the car and into the clinic.
I thought we were past all this with her hip replacement. I have no idea what triggered this last night and why she is suddenly in so much pain now.
