UPDATE: 6-30-20:

Good Morning, I just added the update to Chachi’s posts “Good news !!! Redness is gone, inflammation has gone down. Eye not bulging as much. Continue drops 3x/day for 2 or 3 more days, then decrease to 2x/day and recheck in a week. She said we can go to doggie eye dr and they can actually ultrasound his eye and see in/behind it 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. Praise God. There still can be something back there but improvement with the drops is a very good sign !!!”

PRAY FOR: Chachi, 10 yo. Possible brain tumor. Lord Jesus we ask that whatever is causing Chachi’s pain behind his eye would be resolved with steroid drops. Please give Chachi relief from the pain as mom Sheryl cares for her boy. Give her and the Vet wisdom about Chachi’s condition. Show them what is causing this pain and pressure. Thank you that glaucoma has been ruled out. We ask for healing for this dear boy. In the Name of Adonai Rapha. God our Healer. Amen. <3 Caren

Sheryl Geer Strickland 6-26-20: Hi Caren, I hope you are doing well. We have been blessed with healthy pets for quite some time now, but our little guy, Chachi, is having eye issues. We thought glaucoma, but after visit today, that was ruled out. We are doing steroid drops and will consult our doctor again on Monday. If no better, she thinks it’s possible he has a tumor behind his eye causing pressure/pain and we will consult a specialist. Praying for the drops to work and it’s nothing worse. He is about 10 or so.

James 5:14-15 “Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.”

Oh dear… that eye does not look good at all. Do me a favor and let’s continue this conversation here: https://www.facebook.com/PrayersforPets1 I like to keep everything in one place so I don’t forget about anyone. ❤ C

The eye that looks bad is an old injury (before we adopted him). It’s actually his “good” eye that is giving him trouble. He’s doing fine right now, just can tell it’s bothering him. Never fathomed anything other than glaucoma. That’s what our old boy manny had, and he lost that eye.

Yes, and they do fine without one eye of course, but getting to that point is no fun at all. Do they think he has a vision in the bad eye?

So sorry, my friend came by. Yes, I can tell he is not seeing normally 😞.

Awww, poor Lil Chachi. He’s such a cutie. I will definitely post him tomorrow. I love the picture you sent but the margins are pretty tight. Do you have any pictures with a little more room around the face? I can probably make this one work but it may not be as good.
