PRAY FOR: Hershey, 11yo. Mediastinal Thymoma Lord Jesus we ask that You might reverse the growth of this tumor. We have seen You perform miracles in the past, and we are asking for one here for Hershey, if it would be Your will. Thank You that Hershey has been such a great companion to this family for so many years. If healing does not come, we ask that You would deal mercifully with this circumstance for the family who love him. Guide them through whatever process You have ordained for Hershey. Give them Your wisdom to choose the right treatment at the proper time. Help them to know that You died that they might live, and that Your plan is for them to walk with You through whatever comes next. In the Name of Adonai Rapha. God our Healer. Amen. <3 Caren

Gina Pugliese Marx 8-5-79: Eleven year old Hershey has just been diagnosed with a large mediastinal thymoma in his chest which is displacing his lungs and heart, making it very difficult for him to breathe. He needs very expensive, risky open heart surgery that involves a very long and painful recovery (they have to cut through his sternum and crack open his chest). We don’t know if we can put an 11 year old dog through that. Without surgery, he has weeks, possibly a couple of months, to live. (Cont. below)

Exodus 15:26 And He said, “If you will give earnest heed to the voice of the LORD your God, and do what is right in His sight, and give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes,** I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I, the LORD, am your healer.” **If Jesus is our Lord and Savior we need only to believe fully in Him, then we will long to serve Him, He satisfied the law/commandments with the sacrifice of His life.

(Hershey cont.) The most difficult part about this is not only watching him physically suffer, but also watching my only child (a daughter), who grew up with him emotionally suffer. He is like a brother to her and she is devastated. We would appreciate prayers to know which course of action to take; surgery or palliative care. In the meantime, we are starting him on homeopathic remedies and hoping for a miracle. We just don’t want him to suffer. Thank you for your prayers. Hershey is one of those “once in a lifetime” dogs; the sweetest most sensitive soul who ever lived.
