PRAY FOR: Myo 2yo. Lord Jesus You know the troubles this boy has endured since birth, but mom Julie has made a good life possible for him. We ask that You would reveal the cause of this new behavior at his monthly Vet check-up. If there is a physical cause we ask that You might heal Myo’s nervous system or indicate if this could be a reaction to a medication. Give mom Julie and Myo’s Vet wisdom to discern what is happening and how to treat it. We ask for healing for Myo’s beleaguered little body. In the Name of Adonai Rapha. God our Healer. Amen. <3 Caren
Julie Crosby 8-23-19: Some may remember Myo. He’s had problems since birth. He’s been managed on medication. But he’s developed a new behavior. For the last month or two he’s starting ‘ staring’ at nothing. Staring at the wall, the fan, hiding under the end table stating, staring at the basement stairs, hiding under the bed. I first thought it was a side effect of his antidepressant. But it’s not. It seems like a new problem. And prayers are appreciated. Thanks.💝 (Cont. below)
Exodus 23:24 Do not bow down before their gods or worship them or follow their practices. You must demolish them and break their sacred stones to pieces. 25 Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you, 26 and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span.
Psalm 34:19 “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.”
Julie Crosby Cont.: The staring is new the last two months. I thought it was due to our previous pharmacy not compounding his medication correctly. But, he’s been on the right meds long enough now. And staring/ hiding isn’t any known side effects in humans or animals. One minute he and his sister/ littermate are playing. The next he’s under an end table staring at the wall, or behind the drapes staring at the corner, or staring at the wall, the fan, the basement stairs, the baby gate, etc, etc, etc. I am thinking seizures. He goes to the vet about every month. Hoping to get more answers his next visit. I have the joy of jury duty coming up. But, thankfully the behavior hasn’t gotten worse. If it does, my husband will have to take him in without me. Thank you for your prayers and concern ❤️
